Engaging in service learning with the Department of Theater and Dance was deeply rewarding, particularly my involvement in "She Kills Monsters." As an illustrator for the production, I delved into the characters' journeys, creating visuals that captured their struggles and triumphs. Beyond just drawing, this experience allowed me to connect with the community, sparking conversations about representation and inclusivity in the arts. It was a reminder of the transformative power of storytelling and the importance of empathy in our shared creative endeavors.
